Entrepreneur - Operator

Matt Peterson is an accomplished executive with over 25 years of experience in operations leadership, finance, and entrepreneurship. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration from BYU’s Marriott School of Business.

Matt has spent the past 10 years running two very different but equally successful businesses; a co-pack gluten free bakery as well as a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). In less than 4 years, he grew the co-pack bakery from a 15 employee start up to over 160 employees with EBITDA of over $3M. In 2019, Matt led the acquisition and subsequent management of a 130+ employee SNF in Dallas. He grew EBITDA by 56% in the first year post acquisition and an additional 76% the following year ($2M+ EBITDA by 2022).

Matt is a collaborative leader with a results-oriented approach to management and leadership. He will take on full time management and leadership for the proposed acquisition, and is excited to help drive the business forward from good to great over the next 5 to 7 years.
